RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

At Birch & Bug, each toy is lovingly handcrafted using natural materials. Because every piece is made by hand, minor variations in grain, color, or finish may occur. These are part of the handmade character of the product and are not considered defects.

However, your satisfaction matters to us, and we’re always happy to help if something isn’t right.

Return & Exchange Eligibility

Returns or exchanges must be requested within 3 days of delivery.

To qualify:

• The item must be unused, unplayed with, and in original packaging.
• All accessories, tags, inserts, and packaging materials must be returned.
• Returns requested after 3 days of delivery will not be accepted.
• A flat return shipping fee of ₹150 will be deducted from the refund amount.

Birch & Bug reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions.

Damaged / Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

To process the claim, the following is mandatory:

• A complete unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened.
• The shipping label must be visible in the video.
• The video must clearly show the product and the damage/issue.

Claims without an unboxing video cannot be accepted, as this helps us verify issues with the courier and resolve them quickly.

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

• Products showing signs of use or play
• Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling
• Products returned without original packaging
• Minor natural variations in wood grain or color
• Returns requested after the 3-day window

Return Process

  1. Email us at connect@birchandbug.com with:

    • Order number

    • Reason for return

    • Photos/videos (if applicable)

  2. Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days.

  3. If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup.

  4. Once the product reaches our studio and passes quality inspection, your refund will be processed.

Refunds

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
• A ₹150 return shipping fee will be deducted from eligible refunds.
• Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after inspection.
