Birch City Road Play Mat Gift Set – Wooden Cars & Traffic Signs

Build a little city, plan a journey and see where the story goes. The Birch City Track & Traffic Gift Set combines a fabric road play mat, two wooden roller cars and wooden traffic accessories for hands-on, screen-free pretend play.

Unroll the mat, arrange the signs and set the cars on their way. A roadblock can become a construction site, a crossing can inspire a stop-and-go game, and a parking space can mark the end of a busy city adventure.

What's included

• 1 fabric city road play mat: A winding road layout with intersections, crossings, turns and parking spaces. Rolls up for storage after play.
• 2 wooden roller cars: For pushing, rolling and navigating the city.
• 6 wooden traffic signs: Introduce familiar road symbols and add detail to pretend journeys.
• 2 wooden traffic cones: Create obstacles, parking areas or construction zones.
• 1 wooden barricade: Set up a road closure and find another route.

Ways to play and explore

• Plan a route: Drive between different parts of the mat and explore turns, crossings and parking spaces.
• Change the city: Move cones and signs to create a new layout or traffic challenge.
• Tell a story: Invent journeys, take turns driving and describe what happens along the way.
• Explore road signs: Talk about the symbols together and use them in simple stop-and-go games.

Moving the cars and arranging accessories offers opportunities to practise coordination, fine motor skills and spatial awareness. Finding a route around a barricade brings problem-solving into imaginative play.
